Henry is currently Trident Theatre's producer
as well as being a Producer on the Channel 4 Soap opera Hollyoaks.
Henry is one of the founding members of Trident
Theatre and has been involved on stage and behind the scenes in several of
company's productions.
Henry worked as a technician and assistant
manager at the Edward
Alleyn Theatre, Dulwich and also as a freelance theatre technician all
over London. Henry then read Film and Television Studies at The
University of Surrey, Roehampton.
After graduation Henry returned to theatre working at The Theatre
Royal Nottingham. Henry then taught TV Studio Production at The
London School of Music and Media, Thames Valley University.
In 1999 Henry was one of the co-founders of
Double Jack Films
and made several films with them including the
award winning Projection.
In 2003 Henry joined the BBC Documentary and
Contemporary Factual department where he worked on a wide variety of shows
including:
What Not to Wear, Welcome to Britain,
Destination D-Day: The Raw
Recruits, Food Police, Grown-up Gappers, Taking Care.
In 2004 Henry joined the BBC drama department and worked as part of the script teams first on Casualty and then on the day time drama Doctors. Returning to Casualty in 2006 to work as a script editor on the BAFTA winning Season 21. And on Season 22, working with the then Series Consultant Barbara Machin, he headed up the script team as Series Editor where The Times described me as having “clearly torn up the previous Casualty style book and is busy making up a new look for primetime recurring drama that will rely on originality” http://entertainment.timesonline.co.uk/tol/arts_and_entertainment/tv_and_radio/article2412981.ece
